HISTORY: Marina is one of the sole surviving members of the Earth-bound Plodex, an alien race driven to conquer. Found by a human couple, Marina was raised to be a sweet loving person despite her horrendous appearance. When Alpha Flight formed she joined to help others with her superhuman abilities. At this point in her life, Marina knew next to nothing of her true origins.
